It’s that time of the year again when retailers the world over meet up at the Birmingham NEC for the annual InternetRetailing Expo (IRX) which runs from 5 – 6 April 2017.
Just like last year and the year before last, I (Dave) will be there for the first day of this 2-day expo, which is a Wednesday.
I’m looking forward to seeing you as well as new faces among the 5,000-plus visitors who are expected to attend the eCommerce-centred event.
This year’s IRX will focus on the future of the retail nation which we think is very timely, considering that many consumers are moving away from the traditional shopping experience and increasingly leaning towards mobile shopping.

As this event is one that gathers the industry influencers, myself and Matt would always end up, mingling with fellow motivated entrepreneurs.
Early in the day, we typically stroll around the venue, check out the booths and then head off to the PayPal coffee bar, which we’ve pretty much stamped our names on, and chill out until people start pouring in to join our conversation.
If we didn’t get the chance to meet you in the previous IRXs, we hope that we get it this time around.
