A Marketplace for Warehouse Space

Howdy !

Storage and fulfilment space poses a big problem for many online retailers, especially in the weeks leading up to the holiday season due to the surge in orders.

But the search for warehouse space ends here as LogistCompare, a warehouse marketplace platform, launched recently in the United Kingdom to provide storage and fulfilment solutions for eCommerce stores.

If you have experienced selling during the past holidays, then you know how easy it is to lose yourself and get all worked up when you’re handling a large volume of orders all by yourself.

But, you don’t want that. What you want is to be able to run your store with grace, and what better way to do it than by availing warehousing services.

You can easily obtain that by entering your preferred location and space requirements in LogistCompare and then they will give you a list of warehouse providers and a detailed quotation.

According to Serafina Valente, managing director at LogistCompare, theirs is a platform which largely suits the needs of retailers for the upcoming peak season.

“Retailers look for warehousing space often with short notice to cover seasonal demands and finding the right space at the right price can be challenging. Our portal is a free service offering retailers a platform to reach out to warehousing providers,” Valente said.

The process of obtaining warehouse space on LogistCompare is quick and easy as it doesn’t require middleman intervention. Retailers can communicate directly with warehouse providers to inquire, negotiate and book a space.

An advertising channel for warehouse owners

If retailers are in constant need of extra space during the holiday season, warehouse providers are looking to advertise, fill, and make money out of their massive space.

Serefina said they have many customers searching for inventory space at the last minute. Warehouse owners can take advantage of this lucrative opportunity by signing up to their Marketplace.

The site charges a monthly fee of £50 for every advertised space, but warehouse providers get the first two months free.

The busy holiday shopping season starts with Black Friday, which is in two weeks’ time. So if your products aren’t enrolled in Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) and you’re currently warehouse hunting, see if LogistCompare has what you need.
