Installing & Configuring M2E Pro

We're on to the cool stuff now! We'll look at installing M2E Pro and M2E Pro allows you to list your Magento inventory onto eBay and the other marketplaces. As well as bring all of your orders from the marketplaces into one place making it much easier to manage.

In this guide we take you through visually how to install M2E Pro. After a quick recap of what we will be doing we dive right into taking you through the steps in order to install M2E Pro.

Together we look at what are the steps we will go through in setting up M2E Pro for eBay as well as introducing some new terms such as Policies. We will look at the different type of policies and then go through the 4 stages involved with setting up M2E Pro.

In this guide we are going to take what we learnt in the previous guide and put it into practice on our own Magento system. Matt is going to take us through the 4 setup stages for M2E Pro so that you can follow along in your own system.

In this guide we take you through the process of adding your first product to a listing group. This is important as by using Listing groups it means we can use the 'Policies' we created in the last guide to create a listing group for similar products.

In this guide we cover the numerous ways that you can find support for the M2E Pro extension. The reason why this is guide number 6 is because we have to go through the setup stage first before the Help tab becomes available in the M2E Pro.

In this guide we take you through what is a Cron Job and then we look at how to set these up in Magento. A Cron Job is quite simply a task that we can automate to run at a specific time and / or on a specific date. We need to set up a Cron Job for a couple of reasons in M2E Pro. We are going to set up the M2E Cron so that every minute it will go and look for orders, and inventory changes in eBay.

In this guide we are going to show you where you can access the Configuration settings for your M2E Pro extension. We will show you where you can access the different configuration options in M2E Pro and walk you through the different settings so you know where to find them and what they do so if you ever need to add or edit anything you know where to go.
