    Guys,

    I can’t see how to copy the HTML. I see your reply to Jeff’s below that you added a ‘big green button’ but can’t find that either.

    Also interested in an answer to Benny’s question as it will also apply to me – I don’t always use all 5 bullet points on every item so is there a way for it to hide bullet points in the ebay listing if the field is left blank in magento?

      Howdy Roger,

      Ah my fault, there wasn;t a button but a link instead. I have made it a button for you as well.

      To hide the unused bullet points, you would need to use Javascript to hide the missing ones OR this is actually built into WidgetChimp’s responsive templates if you have M2EPro selected as the service provider.

    Hi guys, I must have missed an earlier tute, but I don’t have “ebay title” or “bullet point 1” in my drop down list in Product Attribute. Where do i find these please?

    Hi guys,
    Does use of html listing template mean the eBay’s listing frame won’t display new look store categories down the left side of listings?

    Does the addition of static blocks also render ebay’s automatic store category inclusion on listings useless?
    Thanks, Nicole.

      Hi Edward,

      Yes absolutely.

      You can add your own custom CSS to the template to change any element you wish.

      So for example the title font size and colour you would add this at the bottom of STYLE tags:

      #item_title {
      font-family:”your font faces here”;
      font-size:24px;
      color:#FF0000
      }

    Hi Matt,

    QQ: Everything went through first time (I must have listened and followed properly this time!) and the listing went to eBay with the template specified. Question is about the images that I added. I had the 1st (default) image displayed ok and the thumbnails below them. All of this looked good in a single screen view. However, each thumbnail when clicked, took the place of the default image as expected but was twice the original display size which spoilt the look and feel of the template as you then had to scroll down again for the next thumbnail.

    Is this a problem with my actual image sizes or some setting that I can use (in the HTML bits of the description) to standardise the image size that gets displayed?

    Regards,
    Sue.

      Howdy Sue,

      I’m guessing that you have different height images, so when the longer image is clicked on the page moves?

      If you have an eBay item number, I can take a look for you.

        Hi Matt,

        I suspected that would be the case. No I don’t have the eBay listing anymore as I zapped it once I had finished inspecting / playing with it from the next template tutorial. Actually I managed to delete the Configurable Product level listing itself but thats in another thread! (PS: I have ready your reply to that and will action it and report back when done).

        Regards,
        Sue.

    Hi Guy’s

    Great tut to start me off with my listing template and how to insert the M2E tags. I have a question about inserting an image though..

    I’ve worked out that #media_gallery[550,,,0,row,1,""]# converts to , but I need it to output as .

    Am I able to to add extra information to the #media_gallery tag to do this?

    Thanks, James.

      Howdy James,

      Looks like the comments system ripped out the HTML. Instead try the forums with the code tags as it’s much more forgiving.

      However with the #media_gallery# keyword, we’re kinda given what we’re given by M2E Pro, so we have to work with what they have.

    Are there any restriction to what html the editor can handle? iv created a nice little listing template in a html editor on the web which works fine on there, but once i transfer it over to the m2e pro editor the formatting is all over the place
