How do I cancel my premium membership?

I can’t seem to find any buttons or links anywhere in my account settings to cancel my premium membership. When I signed up it said cancel any time, but I can’t figure out how to do this and I’m getting billed monthly for a service I no longer need! Please help.

Hi Andrew,

Ah apologies for the confusion here. As the subscription is handled by PayPal that is where you can cancel. If you log into your Paypal account and head over to recurring payments / subscriptions you can cancel it in there.

Any problems just drop support [at] understandinge [dot] com an email and we will get this sorted for you.

Thanks, but I do not see that option in PayPal. Can you describe explicitly how to get there? I’ve scoured all of the screens in my PayPal account and the only cancel option that exists is one to cancel my whole PayPal account.

Hi Dave. I cancelled on March 11 (and received confirmation from PayPal that my “recurring payment has been cancelled,” but was charged again on March 14. Any idea how that happened and could I get reimbursed?

Hey Andrew,

I just checked PayPal and at our end the payment was taken on March 11th so it must have come out just before you cancelled. I will initiate a refund for you now and can confirm that the subscription was cancelled.

Apologies for the inconvenience here, just some unfortunate timing I think.
