Hi matt and dave,
I ahev noticed on ebay that there are sellers with shop templates saying, summer offers with bright colours.here is a link to a ebay store.http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Reall…..7675.l2563
i think this looks reallly good .I think it would be a fantastic idea if you could design something like this that could change for all of the seasons.
thank you,
Gary Walden

Hey Gary,

Yea that is really cool! I love that banner it works really well..that must be one switched on seller ;)

Using the new eBay store design you can upload your own cover photos or graphics which is what this seller has done, and utilised the seasons well.

There would be nothing stopping you getting some graphics designed and uploading them for different promotions or seasons. We would struggle to do this as everyone would want a different style of banner however if you know what you’d want this would be relatively cheap for a freelancer to do….or even cheaper if you know a teenager with access to photoshop you can bribe :)

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your comments re our store Laugh

It took quite a long time to work out how I can get the new eBay shop design even though we were a previous old shop user (New eBay users automatically get the new layout).

I needed to remove and fully delete all our shop pages. I felt the look and the big photos outweighed the refunds and postage pages!

It should then have shown automatically but it didn’t (in true eBay style) so I called Customer Services who did it manually. Again in true eBay style it doesn’t fully work for us as there should be four large feature listings at the top of the page where you can show off your best stuff, but when you go to choose the items it’s blank. eBay know about this and say they are fixing it – err it’s been 2 months already and why release it if it’s not working! Anyway…
Please message me if you need any further info!

Thanks Jono
Really Cool kit
