Hello, how can we be able to set orders as “Shipped” or “Discpatched” on ebay and amazon through Magento?. as we want to be able to bulk update our orders. However, we’ve tried setting an order as “shipped” on magento (selecting the order>from the actions dropdown we select “set order status as shipped” but it doesnt get reflected on ebay.. How to solve this problem?

Best Regards
Anthony

Hey Anthony,

This sounds weird as M2E should be updating eBay. I will ask Matt if he has come across this before, as I haven’t.

Hi Anthony,

Is that an external extension that you have that is giving you that option from the menu? I’m thinking it may not be triggering the shipped event correctly.

That aside, try creating a shipment for an order and confirm that it’s switched to complete and within a sensible amount of time, that the order status is updated on eBay.

Thanks a lot for both of your replies Matt and Dave…

You’re right it was an extension (Xtento) that allows me to change the status of the orders but these options does not trigger the status update on ebay..I tried your suggestion of making a shipment for the order and it worked!! And while exploring the system i also found that I have the ShipEasy extension which allows me to update multiple orders and trigger the status update on ebay. Didn’t know we had that in our system already.

Great to learn new things everyday. Thanks again to you both. :D
