Hi Matt,

Hope you are well.
Need your help on our existing website, if you can help.
We have website called http://www.flaskdirect.co.uk on asp.net based, and we have good google ranking.
But we have decided to migrate from asp.net to magento platform.
My only worries that if we migrate to magento, do we loose any seo ranking?
Is good idea to migrate from asp.net to magento?
Is there any easy tools available to migrate from asp.net to magento?
Please let me know if possible.

Kind regards,
Ilyas Bodi

Hi Ilyas,

It’s unlikely there will be anything off the shelf for this. You can try googling what your current site is based upon if it is an open source or well known/used system.

Besides that it will be a cause manually transfer the inventory data over.

PS. I wish I had a magic wand for this, however the transfer of one site to another, especially if the existing site is something is bespoke will always require quite a bit of effort on your part.
