we currently use a third party multi channel software and we have the following tabs and inventory layout for a SKU and a tick box to say if we sell the SKU on the chosen marketplace.
Basic Details , Amazon , Ebay , Play , Website
within each tab we have the option for different product titles so for ebay we can have a title only 80 charicters long and others details which some are replicated but some are market place sepecific.
I would like to see the layout for a SKU within magento that is sold across multiple channels to see how the look compares to our third party.
This way i can be sure tha if we switch over to this it will work just as well as our current system.
Also does anyone think a guide to show how the magento system can look in the different screen would be a good idea, i have seen the orders screen which does look very good.
You can add in additional attributes as you desire and group them with whatever labels you wish to call them. This is covered in these two tutorials:
So if you wanted a separate title for Amazon you can do and it’s the same principle that is used in the video below where you can create and set different attributes as needed (in this case for auction start and reserve prices).
Does that help?
