Is it possible to separate eBay/Amazon/etc orders from magento orders?

You can separate orders placed on sale channels from magento orders using the order importing settings for accounts. It is possible to specify the store view where orders imported from the channel will be placed.

So, for example you may create store view “eBay” and set up settings to use it for order creation. The same for other sales channels.

You can find more information about order importing settings here:…..edByM2EPro

I should just add in that shipEasy then allows you to easily visually distinguish these order channels in the Orders grid. For a quick visual overview of where your orders are coming from this is really handy.

  • pickPack - smarter Magento packing sheets and warehouse picklists
  • shipEasy - process multiple orders with no sweat & get a visual sales overview easily

I have approached this by adding three new “Order Status” options

  • eBay Pending
  • eBay Processing
  • eBay Complete
  • Then I’ve set these as my custom statuses for M2E Pro.

Now my website sales are all still the normal statuses and I can distinguish from eBay sales. It’s not exactly a new view, but it does allow me to filter to see what I want.

I also use these statuses for reporting directly against the DB.

    Hey James,

    Cool! Nice workaround there too!
