What i want is: spreadsheet with items.
sku / screen / name
123456 / ? / Lenovo B50, 15.6 , i5-5200U , 240GB SSD , 8GB
234567 / ? / Lenovo G70, 17.3 , i3-4030U , 1TB , 4GB

I want to fill “screen” with only 15.6 or 17.3
I have: screen: {{ {item.name}==’17.3′ ? ‘17.3’:” }}

you can see, it don’t work.

Can you help me? Thanks!!

Hello there Marc. Possibly the double “=” on the code thus: {{ {item.name}==’17.3′ ? ‘17.3’:” }} might be causing it. See if a single = might work. Also, maybe @Paul Cartwright can help here.

hello Rodney,

Thanks for your anwser.
i have tried it, but it doesn’t work.

{{ {item.name}=’17.3′ ? ‘17.3’:” }}

I want to make attributes, so you can see the difference from the size of the screen.
There must be more screensizes in the formule.

Do you have another idea?

Let me know how you get on with removing the double equals. If that doesn’t work I will take a deeper look

Hi Marc,

you are trying to move 15.6 or 17.3 from where it is now to sku/here/………

assuming your data is cell a1 try this

=LEFT(RIGHT(A1,FIND(“,”,A1)),FIND(“,”,RIGHT(A1,FIND(“,”,A1)))-1)

or the easier way under the data menu there is a tab saying convert data to column in there you can specific which separate to use, so in your case ,. at the end you should have a column of 15.6/17.3 which you copy and paste where ever you need it.

Hope you this helps
Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply.

We import de pricelist remote.
it’s a cvs file.
So value replacer must do the job.

We have a cron to magmi and every hour he imports the pricelist.
i put a attechment from the pricelist.

I hope that you know the solution!!

Hi Marc,

a little confused.

As the csv file I got has all the specification under the sku column rather than under individual custom attributes.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

this file will import automatic with cron and magmi.

what i want is that value replacer makes a column with “screen” and that he looks at the column “name” and takes only the screensize from it.

so when there stands in the column “name” 15.6 that he put only that word in the column “screen”, and when he see 17.3 in the column “name” he fill the column “screen” with 17.3.
when he finds nothing he left the column “screen” empty.

Thanks Paul for looking at it.

And sorry for my poor english!

I don’t know the answer off the to of my head.

but you can use php in the value replacer so if can put to something to together to pull data out then that might work. Otherwise get a custom module put together to do, as I imagine it will be quite complex.

Sorry I can’t give you the answer
