Hi Guys

I am trying to import images into my magento site using Magmi (image processor attribute)

the files are put into the correct media/import folder and everything seems to upload, but the images don’t appear, when I log into the back of the site and look at a sku image section it is showing the broken image thumbnail. So I done a download/export of the file and see that the file path it is using is: e/n/image.jpg

the problem is when I browse my file structure I can’t find the n folder only the e, so to me it looks like the n folder isn’t getting created, I have got my host to make all folders inside media/ writable but still no luck any ideas?

Hello there James. It likely might be some issue with the host. When I used to work on my website way back around 10 or so years ago, this would happen for me as well. I would upload my images only to find them not show up on my page. Sometimes it has something to do with my HTML coding though sometimes it might also be on the host itself. I would suggest to upload the image files and folders manually to see if it might work. Also, since you mention that the page is using a different file path. When I was working on my site years ago that also happened with the HTML editor I was using, so I had to manually redo the coding to point the HTML image tag to point to the right directory path. You could try both–manually uploading the files and checking the page’s codes–to see where it might be going wrong.
