Where is the static block for "Tags" on the Product Page

I’ve edited the block_product_tab1 and 2 … as per the video guide … but how do I find the static block for the “Tags” tab that is right next to them ?

I’ve looked through the Static Blocks list … but can’t see anything with an appropriate title …

… and, on a broader aspect of this issue … is there any easy way of clicking on an area of an Ultimo themed page and detecting the name of the area in the page ?

Hey Andrew,

If you want to turn off the tags functionality in Magento log in to your admin panel and navigate to System > Configuration > Advanced > Advanced and look for the “Mage_Tag” option. Set it to “Disable”.

Has that done the trick?

hey, that was so easy … why didn’t I figure out that since the Tags tab was right next to two other Static Blocks, it would obviously NOT be a static block but was, in fact a switch buried in the furthermost reaches of the caverns of Magento, guarded by double Advanced signs … that were guaranteed to keep a newbie like me away.

Anyway, it worked.

I really like Magento, .. it is so powerful and has so many features that I’ve wanted for ages but couldn’t have … and now its just point and click to make things happen … but it also feels like a piece of software that has been written by someone that has a very particular view of the world … it makes good sense to them but to us mere mortals … sometimes, its just doggone obscure for the sake of it !

Hey Andrew,

I’ll be 100% honest…I didn’t expect it to be there either…I headed over to Infortis support and found someone who had asked the exact same question…yep advanced> advanced guaranteed to keep any noobs out like me and you from fear of blowing up Magento :)

I have to agree, it’s a hugely powerful system but sometimes I think my logic and theres somewhat differs slightly/massively ha ha
