Hi! I have just installed ultimo 1.12.0 witch where release today. I am running Magento CE 1.9.1 and has followed the video tutorials when building i new site. After updating to Ultimo 1.12.0 the block_product_secondary_bottom and block_product_replace_related cms blocks will not show on the product page. They are set to enable but the just wont show, i’ve tried disabling and enabling them again and tied to put simple text in the content. But no luck, so my question is if anybody have any idea what is wrong and how i can fix this? The wired thing is that the brand logo on the top of this column is showing, but nothing beneath this.
If anyone else has different problems after installing Ultimo 1.12.0 you can also use this thread.
Just wondering, did you go to configuration and re-save all your ultimo settings?
Yes, i did as i was following the tutorial. Thanks for the tip though. Can i ask if you have installed the Ultimo 1.12.0? Everything seems ok so far?
No, I am just about to update. I will let you know how I get on.
The only other thing I can think of, is if the files have changed in Ultimo against the custom child files. This would affect those static blocks.
You could compare them side by side, I think the instructions to do this are on this guide:
Yea my bet too it’s the child theme file that has been skipped during the update, see the comment here:
Unfortunately Ultimo have forgot to update the changlog (modified files) list with this update, so we need to wait for them to update this error before proceeding.
Thanks for your reply. I did compare the view.phtml file and as Sam said there where no red indicators pointing from the main file to the child file. Only the other direction indicates red cause of the custom code we got from you in the child theme. So either, as Sam said, they havent updated the changlog yet, or there is a bug in the new updatefile. Or maybe i am doing something totaly wrong.
Have you updated to 1.12.0 and are experiencing the same error as I ?

1. In new version there are new block containers which are available on product page:
You can assign any number of custom static blocks to each container (blue rectangles). More details can be found in the user guide in chapter 6.2.4 Product page.
2. Regarding related products, this feature haven’t changed in the last version. Please make sure you set “Replace Related Products With Static Block” correctly and block block_product_replace_related exists and is active. Note that this feature will be ignored if option “Related Products in Collateral Data” was set to “Yes”.
I may add that all the configuration mentioned in 2. is set as described.
Thanks for the tip Matt!
“Tip: A very quick way to confirm if it’s related to this file or not is to rename it to “view.phtml_old” and then check the product you’re using.
If it magically works, it means you have to update the custom view.phtml file to the latest version too, adding in any customisations as well.”
Just renamed the file to view.phtml_old and boom, it works! But my question now is, do you know witch kode section i need to copy to the child view.phtml, as there where no red indicators as i mentioned?
Thanks for the heads up on the new blocks!
For the code, make a backup first, cut out the edited section(s) that were added, this should just be the bullet points and add to another file (we’ll need that in a moment).
Then copy over the new view.phtml file, open it and paste in the bullet points just before or just after the short description part as desired and then save.
I successfully updated today, and the child view.phtml did need updating. This is a list of the changed and new files:
Update from version 1.11.2 to 1.12.0
