Did you install CE 1.9.2.2 ?

And have you tried this:

System > Permissions > Blocks
Add New Block
Block Name: [note: enter the block name]
Is Allowed : Yes

Hope that helps

Hi,
I managed to sort via widgets, on the Ultimo page it explains how some of the blocks have now gone and have been replaced by creating widgets.
:)
