Hi Matt and Dave

Really found the styling the cart tutorial helpful, especially with the copy and paste code. I did however spot something hidden that is not covered in the copy and paste code.

If you enter a post code and press get a quote, you then get another button appearing underneath that says update total, this is using the style set earlier in tutorials. Would it be possible to have code to paste into the child custom.css to make this same colour as other buttons and change colour when hovered on?

Hey Jon,

Oh nice find! I hadn’t noticed that. I will speak with Matt and see if this is something he can add in.

Hey Dave

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but the code doesn’t work with Firefox browser, hovering over the buttons they just stay grey. Is strange one as works okay on other browsers.

Hey Jon,

Nope no one has mentioned this yet Jon, but I know from running my own site to get hover colours to work on buttons in cross browser functionality was really tricky…in the end I just ignored IE … as it’s bloody awful, however Firefox is obviously widely used.

Another one I will point out to Matt.

Many Thanks

Dave

Hi Jon,

See this website for deeper compatibilities http://www.css-opacity.pascal-seven.de/

For 70% opacity you would add this:

-khtml-opacity: 0.70;
opacity: 0.70;
-ms-filter:"progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha"(Opacity=70);
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(opacity=70);
filter:alpha(opacity=70);
