i would welcome any suggestions on this issue i have….
i have being using simple severs to host my magento account and website – all working fine, but i wanted to rebrand and move to a new website.
i have purchased a new domain via simple servers, and they have moved the magento store over – again, all working fine, and i have gone in via cyberduck so i can start changing logos etc.
i have contacted simple servers several times, but they do not seem to understand what the issue is – i presume there is an internal link that signposts the magteno connect manager to the correct ftp address, and i just need to change it?
anyone can signpost me to the right place to do this?
many thanks (and thanks to matt and dave for the excellent videos!!)
This looks like a weird one as it looks like you have to log in to Magento Connect Manager in order to access the FTP details.
I just tried it on our test system and once we had put the username and password in we could edit the settings: see this post here for a screenshot of the page you need: http://magento.stackexchange.c…..to-install
I am not sure of a way around this, however i’m sure there must be one. If anyone has any insight on this please do share.
