Hello Matt,
As it is your code, maybe you will be able to solve this issue faster than I…
I have added related items widget I bought year’s ago from you and implemented it to my magento listings.
It works but it causes a conflict with the Lightbox (also from this website).
Maybe you could check my listing and direct me a bit, where is the problem and what is in conflict?
I use Migrate (witch allowed me to solve this problem before), but now it happened again.
Please help,
Here is the listing Nº on eBay.co.uk: 380937058446
Thanks in advance,
Best wishes,

Howdy Arthur,
Dead simple.
Check the config.php file and see the note around jQuery tools, change this one to the version that does not have jQuery bundled in it and it’ll work as expected.
Matt

Sorry, but I don’t get it :)
I did change to the
but now both stoped working…
I don’t understand this: does not have jQuery bundled in it
UPDATE:
I went to this site: http://jquerytools.org/download/ downloaded everything exept the jquery and now the Lightbox works, but Related items don’t…
Thanks,

Hi Arthur,
There is no need to download the files, just change the path to the non jQuery one:
/*
jQuery Tools Path
———————————–
While the jQuery Tools is in a CDN (content delivery network), I could see the desire arising for someone to want to self host this file also.
If you would like to self-host this file change the path below, otherwise leave as it is.
Default: "http://cdn.jquerytools.org/1.2….."
Update: If you already have jQuery on the listing or page you are adding this widget to, change this path to the one below, which will load jQuery tools, but without jQuery:
"http://cdn.jquerytools.org/1.2….."
*/
$jQueryTools_URL = "http://cdn.jquerytools.org/1.2…..";
Then clear out any cache files and retry.
Matt
Hello Matt,
Thanks for all the help.
I did not have the update in my config.
But still: I have followed your instructions and added this path:
And still it doesn’t work. Could it be because when you open the path, it’s not beeing found on the server?
Here is the message when I try to see the path in the browser:
404 Not Found
Code: NoSuchKey
Message: The specified key does not exist.
Key: 1.2.7/all/jquery.tools.min.js"

Hi artur,
The forums trim down the links and have added in quotes to that code snippet as well.
If you don’t see the options mentioned in the code sample above, then grab the latest version from your downloads section.
Also note the path without the http:// part is this:
Matt
Hello Matt,
I have the correct path and everything, but still it doesn’t work…
Could you have a look, why?
Here is the listing: 121377753818
If you’ll take a look with the inspector, I can see that this code is commented out, should it be commented out?
<script type="text/javascript" defer="defer">
jQuery.noConflict();
$(document).ready(function() {
setTimeout("doDelay()",1500);
//$("#slider-center").hide();
});
function doDelay(){
jQuery(".slider").scrollable({next: ".next2", prev: ".prev2", circular: "true"}).autoscroll({ autoplay: true });
jQuery("#slider-center").show();
}
});
</script>

Howdy,
You have jQuery being loaded twice on that page.
View the source of this page http://vi.vipr.ebaydesc.com/ws…..escgauge=1 and at line 60, note:
I have removed the http:// part so it formats correctly above.
Remove this and revise and see if that solves it.

Related items started working, but FancyBox stopped :)
Man… I hate when this happens.
Me too!
It’ll be the ordering of the scripts, try adding in fancy box at the bottom instead :0
Matt
I think the problem is that Fancy Box is not supported by the latest jQuery.
Because I tryed placing it in different places and still nothing happens.
I see that the #image1 is not beeing wraped in
, so I don’t have a clue where the problem is apearing…
I will try to add Colourbox and see what hapens.
Anyways, thanks for the effort.

Hi Arthur,
Oh of course you’re right, the latest version of jQuery doesn’t work with FancyBox!
