Hi Jay

This should be relatively easy to do, it’s just a case of finding out what menu is at work here.

Have you tried using developer tools to see what code is being used or can you send us a link to have a look at?

Hi Dave,

If you can tell me what you it is you need i’ll send it over to you.

Also do you have a tutorial on how to list different sizes and pictures for a footwear product?

Thanks

Hi Jay,

This really depends on your theme that you are using, if you use the video below on how to identify the template file that is being used, you should be able to work out how to add additional ones (you’ll need to be able to read HTML and PHP for this).

For the footwear products see the tutorials here for the variations:

Thanks

Hi Jay,

We haven’t, M2E doesn’t support the creation of variation products, this is due in the updated version for Amazon.

My advice still stands, the best way of creating products on Amazon is via their import sheets, it’s quicker plus when there are errors, you find out about them sooner too.

Hi Jay,

I’m not sure why that’s still showing, have you tried clearing the caches in System > Cache management?

Hi,

Refreshed the cache as you mentioned and it’s back to normal.

Going back to listing products to amazon once you’ve done this through there import sheet how do you then get the listings in to magento?

Thanks

Howdy James,

What I would do is create the products on one sheet in Excel and then populate another sheet at the same type using formula’s to create the Amazon sheet.

Then you have both versions, one to import into Amazon and one to import into Magento.

The one thing you’re missing when doing this is the ASIN, so assuming that you’re using the GTIN (barcode) to create new products, make sure that the settings for Amazon in M2E, use the barcode first.

Matt
PS. Once the items have been created, running an export from Amazon from the inventory menu to extract the ASIN’s would be an idea, so you can import them back into Magento later as the attribute att_asin

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the reply, don’t suppose you would do a video tutorial on this as i don’t understand how to do this, if not no worries.

Thanks

Hi Jay,

I’m afraid I can’t on this one as I don’t know what theme you’re using and it would most likely need more than one template changing.

The best thing here is to grab a designer from oDesk to do thsi for you, it should cost more than $20 or so.

Hi Matt,

I get how to create listings through amazon‘s excel sheets but once i’ve done this is it a case of just importing that file in to magento and the listings will be in m2e pro?

Thanks

Hi Jay,

No, they won’t magically appear in M2E, you’ll need to create them in Amazon and in Magento.

Hi Dave,

Just coming back to the above problem i was having, i’ve created a variation listing and uploaded this to amazon which has worked fine, i have then created this product listing in magento, but when i try and add this listing to amazon m2e pro iget this message.

The same Merchant SKU was found among 3rd Party Listings. Merchant SKU must be unique for each Amazon item.

Any ideas to what the problem is?

Thanks

Jay
