hi,

i have followed the excellent tutorials to get my website up and running, but i am unable to find out how to edit the cart page – there is a widget that appears that i do not want (coupon box) that i have no idea how to turn off – i presume it is a widget?

Howdy Matthew,

Cool name :D

We’re not at that stage yet in the course, however will be very shortly as the content pages tutorials were recorded today and the cart & checkout pages are next.

The two static blocks you’re interested in are called:

block_cart_below_totals
block_cart_below_table

These are in CMS > Static Blocks and search by the “Identifier” column

block_cart_below_totals contains the SSL certificate you see on the right and block_cart_below_table contains the grey discount code box you mention. For ease you can disable both of these and enable them once ready or edited.

Hi,

Can you tell me the name of the static block that is the “estimate shipping charges” on the checkout page?

Thanks

Hi Matthew,

After having a look around i’m not sure this is part of a static block. It looks like it is hard coded into Magento… see here: http://magentotutorial.org/how…..n-magento/ they are having to get into the code to edit this.

What is it you were trying to do with it? Remove it or move it etc?
