I’ve been spending hours trying to get the subtotal, tax and shipping rates from Pickpack right but I feel like I am running in circles.
I’d like something similar to Magento‘s order details
the best I could get was items subtotal + shipping including VAT and then the total VAT. The issue with this is the word shipping not appearing in front of “£5”? Is there a field on the configuration page to add this?
Can anyone help make my invoice dream come true? I would be happy to settle with the second option if we can add “shipping” or “p&p” in from the value.
What version was this option introduced? We don’t see that option in version 3.0.0.
I’m not 100% sure but we’re on 3.4.27 right now, so about 150+ changes past 3.0.0 – if you’re getting the version number from the config page, don’t! This is a bug which I’m leaving for a rainy day. The correct version number is in the zip filename when you download it.
Also, just sneak a quick question in here – I would rather play with the setup of the extensions in a dev environment – so can we install your extensions on our test sites?
Sure, assuming your license is in the 90 day support period, just drop me a line with your dev server url and I’ll make you a dev key.
thanks for your reply. I didn’t see that option before but it’s definitely there at the bottom. (Also says version 3.0.0 for me). Weirdly the dropdown menu is not aligned with the other dropdown menus so maybe that’s why Simon missed it.
More importantly when I select yes and then try to print the invoices, i get the following error message
Fatal error: Class ‘Mage_Pdfcustomiser_Helper_Data’ not found in /home/homeshop/public_html/app/Mage.php on line 547
Invoices print perfectly when no is selected.
We switched over to VAT registered status on eBay over the weekend. Everything is fine in Magento, but the invoices generated by Pickpack are not picking up VAT – see attached.
I’ve got the settings set to to show tax separately in a Tax subtotal.
I would guess you need to set where you’re paying tax as your subtotal looks like it matches. It’s a bit unclear as m2epro is in the middle here – I’d check the settings under tax specifically.
The order is brought in correctly by m2epro – as you can see the Magento order is correct so m2epro is done with at this point.
If I print an invoice through Magento it is also correct. So, I think I have everything set correctly for that to all be working.
Here’s another odd one attached that I’ve just seen when someone has paid for shipping rather than free. VAT showing at 19.7%(?) and the totals completely out. Again Magento invoice is correct.
Any way to get this fixed and showing correctly?
This looks like an integration issue with the m2epro extension. We do make constant changes to keep up to date with 3rd party extensions, if you have our latest version installed and it’s still showing this, please get in touch via email and we’ll get it working.
Since I last posted I have managed to get Pickpack to produce an invoice that accurately calculates the tax but does not show the full calculation. Wouldn’t this also suggest that m2epro is not involved as when I set up pickpack differently it can actually work out the total tax correctly, just not by showing the tax in a subtotal. (see attached)
Tax in Magento is always a mire – there are quite a few different ways to set up products, tax rules, how those are applied to products, orders, shipping, display, based on which countries etc. We try and provide a few different ways to integrate there, but it’s hard to say what’s happening without a look at your live (or dev) store. If it helps, most people have no issue here so you’ll get there in the end!
We set up the tax settings as per the guide here on UE, so would think that quite a few others have done the same.
So I guess its left to me to ask if anyone here is willing to share their settings in Magento and Pickpack to get the tax calculations showing properly?
Not so New
this was original query, the reason I started this thread. I have the latest version of Pickpack/Shipeasey and I am encountering the same issue. How did you get the word “shipping” appear on the invoice as my invoices don’t show that word.
I had a similar issue, I had to edit the CSV file in the en_US folder to get it show the correct word:
app > locale > en_US
lines 37 to 39 show the following:
I changed this to:
Hey Chris, thanks for that. It set us off in the right direction; it seems that all locale CSVs are combined by Magento so we needed to go down a different route to get different translations for the two different extensions. (Basically we try to simplify what is shown with shipEasy in the Order Grid, to simplify scanning orders visually. I think no need to see the word ‘shipping’ in the ‘Shipping’ column for instance).
