My website’s Navigation Menu Bar stopped working yesterday. Rather than loading the bar with a drop down category list, and pages. It loads every category and page in a list. To me, this sounds like either the Javascript or CSS isn’t loading correctly.

However – the Sticky Menu works fine, and keeps it’s format if you scroll down the page.

Also on the HomePage – the Banner Slider has disappeared. If I go to any of my other Pages, rather than product categories. The Homepage Slider appears in a broken form (which it should only appear on the homepage).

I’ve got no idea what caused this to happen, all I did yesterday was tweak the Search attributes and reindex data.

I’ve been looking at trying to speed the website up, and I’ve checked a few of the extensions that are installed. One of which is Turpentine Varnish – which was installed for me, but later disabled because it wasn’t working correctly.

I enabled Varnish yesterday – and disabled it after the menu stopped working. But nothing has changed. The Website and the backend database has been fully Restored by my Hosting Company, but the error remains with the Navigation menu.

I’ve fully uninstalled Varnish, and played with different extensions in the backend, but nothing is working.

I’ve not played with any Root Directories, I’m not that involved with Magento. So I don’t know what’s causing it, or how to fix it.

Any help would be great.

I will attach photo’s of how the Website should look, and how it currently looks.

Or you can visit it yourselves – http://www.astra-antiques.com

Thanks. Dan.

Hello there, Dan. The best solution for this might be to revert to an older version of your files, if that would be possible. Otherwise the only other means might be to have a talk with your host once more to see what else could possibly be done with it.
