Regarding the grid views in magento, when the user scrolls down the ‘attribute headings bar’ disappears off the top of the screen so the user cant see what fields are in view. Combining this with the way the scroll bar is only visible when the user scrolls right down to the bottom of the page makes navigating the grid views cumbersome. Bad design.
Here is a video describing what i mean. Note how the ‘attribute headings bar’ disappears when the user scrolls down. Also note how there is no scroll bar until the user has scrolled to the bottom of the page.
Are there any extensions which will fix this behaviour?

Hi David,
Oh yea I see what you mean, on that grid it would be difficult to work out what each column is.
I’ve not seen anything like this on Magento connect before, however I just found this http://www.magalter.com/pinned…..aders.html which puts them at the bottom.
To be honest adding them at the top shouldn’t be too hard with jQuery as it would be a case of cloning the “headings” class on the table and appending it to floating header and adding in a bit of CSS.
