I assume this will require some sort of extension. I am trying to mimic what I have seen now on several websites where the merchant is explaining the attribute/spec a little better. There seem to be two different methods. Here from Best Buy they added a 3rd column…..Id=4325007

The other way I have seen it done, which now I can’t find an example on the fly, is where there is a little link next to the specification name (often a “?” symbol superscripted) that opens a bubble with a more detailed explanation of the spec.

I don’t think this function is in the core Magento install, but I was hoping someone would know of a good extension that provides this.

You have to start with a plan to know what you will be deviating from.

Howdy Richard,

Have a look at this…..-extension that adds a 3rd description option to attributes.

A screenshot is below and yes you would need to tweak the attributes table to spill out the extra description (should be easy PHP for that).
