Not so New
An example of what I seek is shown in the screen capture at the end of this post.
The idea is that the user can enter in multiple different quantities for a variety of simple products under the same configurable product and add them all to the cart with a single click. It’s important that each simple product has its own price. The columns (besides SKU, price, etc) are the configurable attributes and use the label for that attribute.
If the stock status can be shown, that’s a bonus but not needed (not displaying it should be an option). Out of stock items that can’t be back ordered should not allow a quantity to be entered. Having duplicate add-to-cart buttons (top and bottom of the table) is also a bonus but not needed.
The target system is Community Edition 188.8.131.52.
Has anyone seen such a thing? If not, is there a good (working and current) tutorial that could get me started on writing my own extension?
Thanks in advance!
