Hi,

I have a very Unique issue. I installed m2ePro many Moons ago and left it for good 6 months. In this time it kept synchronising listings from eBay. I now found understandingE website it renwed my interest in properly setting up my Magento (Excellent site btw). I updated it to 1.9.2.1, updated to the latest M2E Pro via Magento Connect and tried to setup policies (ala Cokkie cutters) but:

1. Whenever I try to add a shipping service Under “Domestic Shipping” by clicking “+ Add Method” The service dropdown is completely Empty and looks almost broken (On standard theme and V-Admin Theme for testing).
2. Also, The “Dispatch Time” field is also the same. Click on it and nothing happens, just empty.

So Far I have:

1. Tried to reinstall M2EPro via Magento Connect to no avail.
2. Tried to Create a brand new shipping policy to no avail.
3. Tried to create a New ‘Listing’ and create shipping policy in that and same thing again.
4. Installed V-Admin theme from Magento Connect to test to no avail.
5. Tried different browsers on this pc.
6. Used a Different PC with and tested in Firefox/Chrome to no avail
7. Just to add, all other dropdowns work fine.

My Magento knowledge has reached it’s limit and i am not sure what else I can do. Obviously without the shipping policy I can’t move forward. I’m hopinh to find a solution that doesnt require me to loose all my synched orders for the last 6 months. Can someone please help?

Hi Guys,

If there a few of you with the same issue then this sounds like it’s one for M2E, an update most likely has caused a bug. Have you tried contacting M2E support and pointing this out to them?

I contacted them aswell last night. They gave me a response SLA of 48 hours so i’m still waiting. The more people that contact them, the better. It’ll encourage them to come up with it a quicker fix once they knows it’s a wide spread issue. they can be contacted here: http://support.m2epro.com/ by clicking on ‘Contact Support’ link.

Thanks Dave. Brilliant site by the way Dave (and Matt). I have been doing web development on and off for 17 years (Yes i’m talking about the static HTML and PHPNUKE days) and i’ve never come across a tutorial so well structured.

I am pleased to confirm that my issue is now resolved. They emailed me back to say that they ‘Synchronised my Marketplaces’. I have googled it and was unable to find anything meaningful on how to do it. I’m sure one of the more experienced magento-ers will weight in if they know, but just in case, I’ve emailed them asking instructions on how to do it. It seems this is a sync issue rather than a bug.

M2EPro came back to me. This is what you need to do to resolve this issue:

Go to Sell on ebay > Configuration > eBay Sites and hit the ‘Update Now’ or ‘Update All’ button. Screenshot below.

Hi junaid,

Thanks for your information. Unfortunately I’ve realised that my problem is slighlty different because I cannot get past the initial ebay setup wizard because of the drop down menu being blank so I don’t have the configuration option to synchronise my Marketplaces using the “update all” feature. I’ve attached a jpeg so that other people can see what my problem is. I’ve also contacted the M2E support to see if they can fill me in on how to solve this version of the problem. I’ll let the forum know the outcome in due course.

Cheers

Duncan

Duncan,

I have a work around for you, you can move past this stage by selecting ‘No Shipping: Local pickup only’ option. This will allow you to save the policy and do the rest of the setup. You can then update the marketplaces and go back into the listing to add the shipping details later. This is what I did.

Thanks. I’ve just tried it and I can save the shipping policy now but I cannot do anything with the retuns policy as it’s now blank and not alllowing me to save the policy. Back to the drawing board I think!

I’m in the same boat. Support emailed me this morning @ 4:24A saying the login didn’t work for them. I emailed them back at 4:25A saying I fixed and tested their login. I have not heard back since. Same issue, can’t choose a shipping option, even if you could, you can’t choose a dispatch time, even if you could, you can’t choose a return policy. While I’m trying to use this to save some money, it is pretty discouraging to say the least. I even asked the for a quote to transfer my current listings from eBay to M2E and they haven’t provided that. I would hate to have to deal with this kind of support when I’m “all in” on Magento with M2E.
