Hello, Having a couple issues here.
I’ve created two different Listing in M2E Pro. I used one listing for a video game category that are smaller and require me to charge less shipping. Therefore they use different policies and are listed under a different ebay and ebay store category.
The 2nd listing is for a video game console which cost more to ship. When I created the product console and assigned the category for some reason it was added to the 1st listing. I was able to highlight it and move it to the correct listing. However it keeps trying to list the product on ebay using video game category and not video game console.
I’m also not able to select products to be added to the 2nd listing. When I try to add the products by clicking on the category I get a blank page. Yet under catalog and manage products they are listed and are in their respective category.
I’m not sure if I’ve made a lot of sense in explaining my issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ok, let me get this right.
You have two listing groups, one for small one for larger items and those groups have different policies attached to them (which is the right way of doing this).
I’m not sure why there is a cross over for that listing if I’m honest, however the daftest of questions is…. was it added to the right listing group to begin with?
I figured it out and I ran into the exact same issue while listing on Amazon. Here’s the fix.
Ebay and Amazon required different conditions for each category. In other words I can list a video game with a condition of: Excellent to Poor and New, Used, or Refurbished. In video game consoles they want: New, Used, or Refurbished.
The same goes with Amazon. I initially listed the games as refurbished and it was kicking out the listing.. I then listed them as “Used” and the listing took.
Both Amazon and eBay’s documentation failed to describe this very clear and/or they have changed policies and the docs haven’t been updated.
From my experience and this will probably be the same from Dave too (as he used to work with a company that refurbished products), the used option should get you more sales than saying it’s refurbished. Specially on Amazon anyway.
