Hi Matt & Dave –
Sorry, but this is another Ultimo question, but I’m sure this is an easy one for you!

I am trying to flesh out the home page etc by using the CMS Static Blocks with images in them

Here’s the problem I’m having:
I can’t work out which folder the images should be uploaded to. I’ve tried putting them into

/skin/frontend/ultimo/default/images

and using that file path within the block code, e.g.
ultimo/default/images/picname.jpg
but I’m not getting the image to appear.
I’m sure it is me doing something wrong. Please point me in the right direction!

Cheers

Hi Steve & Val,

Ohhhh I had this too ages ago.

*scratches head*

What happens if you use just “picname.jpg”?

I’m going to have to get Ultimo installed aren’t I :) I’ll get the readme document on the iPad and have a read through while the kids are playing on the wii this morning.

Hi Matt – and John.
Thanks for that John – the path you have shown did the trick

Also – just received this reply from the Ultimo author… I asked him the question too, because the paths in the Manual were for Demo.

Hello,

In Magento you can upload images anywhere inside “media” folder. our paths are just examples. Paths which you enter in the

{{media…}}

tag to display an image are always relative to “media” folder.

Additionally, if you upload images into “media/wysiwyg” you will be able to get them via Magento WYSIWYG editor.

Kind regards

Howdy Steve, Val,

Oh ace.

I read through the documentation on the weekend. Some of it is in completely the wrong order, but will come in handy for a base for the guides.
