Hi Matt & Dave,

Could you share a best practice how do I handle Transactional emails for different marketplaces?

For example: if I make a sale on eBay.de and create an order/invoice in Magento and send email notification based on the eBay site language. In this case in German.

Thanks guys,

Hi Arthur,

This dead simple to do if you have multiple storeviews set up and eBay orders being collected to each of them.

If you follow the tutorial here https://understandinge.com/tutorial/om-0010/ and here https://understandinge.com/tutorial/om-0011/ then when setting up and creating custom store emails, set them at store level in the configuration settings,

Does that help?

So basically,

I need to install a language Pack for the language I need, then create the store view for that language and in Setting’s change the Locale settings, yes?

One more question, will the transactional email templates (default) will be translated? I’ve modified the route of them, so I would not need to create custom one for every language. – UPDATE -> I found a good translation pack and email templates are included! So no worries about this one.

Also, I’ve done the above, I have active listing’s on eBay for that language and I can’t find where do I change the store view setting for the those listings, can you help?

Howdy,

You’ll need to break the foreign listings out into separate listing groups in M2E pro, that way you can assign different eBay sites.

Enable the extra eBay sites in M2E Pro in Sell on eBay > Configuration > eBay sites

Then create a new listing group in Sell on eBay > Listings and then on the first page, assign the Magento store view, as shown in the screenshot below.

Oh and the bit I missed, you’ll need to put the listings in this group or list from thsi group for those settings to be used.
