Hi

I am struggling to find an answer to this problem. I have a couple of products which are not updating online no matter what I do on Magento.

I make changes but it is not reflected on website … I have even tried to search for product using website title shown online but it is not appearing in Magento
I have ensure that the Track Changes on Database is set to NO
I have flushed the Cache numerous times

Can anyone point out to me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

Gillian

I have done a bit more investigation …

Looking at the website, the sourcecode shows what I consider to be the WRONG information:

S3000E – 4 Burner & Side Burner (cast iron pack) "Designer" Cabinet Trolley

The Meta Information is right … but the title is wrong …

Where can I find this information on Magento to change it?

Thanks

Gillian

Here is the code on the website …

meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=utf-8″ />
title>S3000E – 4 Burner & Side Burner (cast iron pack) "Designer" Cabinet Trolley
meta name=”description” content=”S3000E – 4 Burner & Side Burner (cast iron pack) "Designer" Cabinet Trolley” />
meta name=”keywords” content=”Signature 3000e with Designer Cabinet Trolley 5 Burner, BBQ, barbecue, barbeque” />

Hi Gillian,

Have you checked the meta information tab on the left hand side of a product?

Also you may need to reindex your website for the changes to be reflected, see this tutorial on them. https://understandinge.com/tutorial/mwf-0031/ (it’s a premium one at present).

Hi Matt

Found the problem. Different Website Views had the use Global Settings unchecked and had a separate title which had been imported via Magmi when I first listed the product,

I had to check each product in each store view to find the error – a simple check box as usual …

Phew!
