Hello,

We have a current established magento store, under manage stores we already have the following setup:

Website Name Shop Name Shop View Name
Main Website Our Website English GB
Main Website Our Website Français
Main Website Our Website Deutsch DE
Main Website Our Website Deutsch CH
Main Website Our Website Italiano

After having installed m2epro and following the guides, how do we add our eBay store view. If we add another Shop View it adds the option to our Ultimo template on the front end?

Thanks,

Hi Sam,

Yea the moment you add in a new storeview, Ultimo picks this up and shows it as a storeview as it should do. However in this case I’m presuming it’s not desirable.

I’m not sure how to bypass this as that’s just how ultimo works and I’m also assuming that blocking the whole dtop isn’t desirable too (as covered in the thread).

I believe it’s going to need an override function of

$this->getChildHtml(‘store_language’);

to stop it from showing and you’ll need a developer to help you with that.

The storeview is only needed if you want to separate your marketplace sales from the other sites or stores that you have on your site, if you don’t need this just set M2EPro to use one of the other store views.

Oh and you could try setting the new store view as disabled and see if it can still be selected in M2E, that should make it hide on the website as well.

Hi Matt,

Thank you for your reply.

I get it now, I will have a play around and see what I can do, ideally we do want to separate those marketplace sales.

Hi again,

I just set the store view to disabled and m2epro let me select it. Its not showing on the template which is great, so hopefully will work later on. Smile

Hi Sam,

Oh superb.

Daft question for you now :) In Sell on eBay > Configuration > Accounts > Can you still select the disabled store view so you can attribute sales to that store view?
