Hi All, :-)
I am trying to list to ebay using me2pro. However, my products in magento are showing as 0/34 available.
Have I done something wrong in setting up my products?
Thank you

Hey Jessica,

Are these products that were created in Magento or created somewhere else and imported?

Chances are there is a required field missing somewhere. Have you double checked your listings. Focus on one and as soon as you get that done the rest should follow pretty easily.

Hi Dave,
Thanks so much for your reply! Appreciate your time.
All my products were created directly into magento. I must have some settings out somewhere! [frustrated!]
Will keep chipping away! Wish me luck

Hi Steve, Thanks for asking. They are simple products with custom options for size.
Feeling super silly, I have been back over all my settings today and I think everything looks right.
Im a bit of a novice and getting so frustrated as to where I am going wrong! ;-)

Have you double checked that your eBay account is linked up properly etc and that the products are assigned to categories in eBay?

I have asked Matt to see if he knows what could be causing this too.

Custom options are not a good idea as it doesn’t down date stock correctly. I initially set up cushion options on all items because it didn’t impact the eBay selling quantities but ran into all sorts of stock control. The worst being selling products that were out of stock so I bit the bullet and changed them to config products. If you have an issue with selling limits there is a good way round it/tip from Matt and Dave.

Good luck steve

Hi Jessica,

Dave just pinged your message over to me, Err no idea!

However… I bet it’s something simple :)

Can you email me some login details, your admin url and crucially the SKU of the configurable product and the name of the listing group in M2E and I’ll take a look for you?

The email is matt @ understandinge dot com

Steve: I think you are 100% right re: the config being the better option. I originally had my products set like this and my developer deleted them and added them as simple with custom fields. I dont know why, but know 7 months and lots more products later, I am really annoyed that I will have to go back to config now!

Matt: Thanks! Email Sent.

You guys are the best, I would be totally lost without your site.

Hi Jessica,

I’ve found part of the reason and the answer is in the screenshot below, I’ve highlighted this in red:

You have that product in your catalog, but it’s not appearing and the reason for that is the red box, you have that product in your other listing Group in M2E.

If you drop that box down, you can then add this product to this listing group.

Also note the reason why M2E is doing this is because it’s protecting you from creating duplicates. See the setting in Sell on eBay > Configuration > General tab and highlighted in red.

Rather than go any further, you have this product in your other listing group called “Default” and right now it’s sat in there with two eBay errors:

While I was there thought I might as well give listing that item a whirl and see if the errors are still valid.

Well we can see that you have nailed the bank transfers error, however the image is too small, see the screenshot below:

So I took at look at that SKU in your catalog and the product images are huge, well all bar one of them.

The image called “gem_guarantee_banner_c9j_9.png” is 364×370 pixels, make this bigger and the item should list :)

Hope that helps Jessica!
