Hi,

Hope someone here can help us with this issue as we have not been able as of yet to figure it out. Since July 9th m2e Pro has not been updating stock levels or synchronizing with eBay. We are getting the same errors “This call resulted in 4437 records, but only 3000 results are supported at a time because of operational constraints. Please change the time criteria to get smaller complete result set.” over and over as you can see in the attached screenshot. The number of records keeps on increasing every time the system attempts to do the default synchronization.

We have successfully updated the m2e pro to the latest version 6.3.4 and are running magento 1.9.0.1

Does anyone have any suggestions as we really need to fix this issue asap as our stock levels are not being updated on eBay and listings are being ended due to zero stock levels.

Nick

Hi Dave,

Thanks for getting back. Yes we have contacted M2E Pro but we have not yet received an answer. So thought I ask here in case someone came across the same issue.

Have you had any luck with this? I’m only just setting up our M2e Pro account and can’t get our ebay 3rd party listings to download. I’ve now found a similar message in our log;
This call resulted in 3976 records, but only 3000 results are supported at a time because of operational constraints. Please change the time criteria to get smaller complete result set.

Nothing to report yet, Richard. M2E responded to our support ticket, asking for access to the admin panel. Just waiting on their follow up at the moment. Feels like forever …

Will report back ;)

I too cannot perform any M2EPro operations this morning – very frustrating. I tried to update the ebay us catalog and it failed with the same error as everything else – and REMOVED A PILE OF CATEGORIES I USE FROM THE LOCAL CATALOG! What a pain.

my error log:

I’m getting the same issue, looks like M2E Pro’s server are going down.

I’m back on track now, whew!

At least it was a short-lived issue.

*edit*

great, now I get:
Jul 24, 2015 8:46:07 AM List Item on Channel Pro-Liquid Omega 3 Fish Oil for Dogs and Cats-Pharmaceutical Grade-16oz TerraMax
ID: 3013 Internal Server Error(s) [The request cannot be processed. Please wait and try again later.]

I am going to cease my bellyaching on this thread and start a new one if needed and I apologize if I have done disservice to the original poster, as I realize I have digressed from their original issue.

I wonder if the issues with synching that folks seem to be experiencing has anything to do with eBay’s new demand for product identifiers? I have been on vacation, but updated a few of our products manually (on the eBay site) before leaving on the 2nd, with the thought that I would need to get right on it once I returned, as it seems that eBay is Really Serious about it.

I noticed yesterday that M2E in Magento is saying that “United States data was changed on eBay. You need to synchronize it the Extension works properly. Please, go to Sell On eBay > Configuration > eBay Sites and click the Save And Update Button.” Doing so clears the message, but I assume that the “changed on eBay” part of the message referred to the changes I made before leaving on vacation.

Is it possible that the new eBay requirements are causing problems with M2E synching?

It most definitely has a problem with me mapping item specific brand to either att_brand, a text field or manufacturer – a drop down, or even manually typing in a value for brand. It will no longer list for me (at least here in pet supplies, maybe I should try a different category and some other products).

“Listing Selected Items On eBay” task has completed with errors. View Log for details
Errors Summary ×
1 Product(s)
Input data for tag is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation.

Perhaps they DO have some new requirement for certain specifics like brand. I routinely pass custom attributes for many, many (all) item specifics without any problems.

I don’t think it’s to do with product identifiers. I’m only trying to download our 3rd party ebay listings, not make any changes. It can’t even seem to do that at the moment. We’re still getting the same message as the OP which says;
“This call resulted in 3225 records, but only 3000 results are supported at a time because of operational constraints. Please change the time criteria to get smaller complete result set.”
I wish I knew how to change the time constraint! We’re only just switching over to M2E Pro and this isn’t a great start.

I have the same problem, this sucks, I can’t revise items on eBay now because I am getting the same invalid “brand” tag even though I have all item specifics mapped 100%. WTF I wish I didn;t update to the latest version.

I routinely pass custom attributes as well, but when I just tried to re-list two previously listed – but currently stopped – items, I get this:

2 Product(s) – Required field, UPC, is missing. Please add UPC to the listing and retry the operation.
2 Product(s) – Required item specific, MPN, is missing. Please add MPN and a corresponding value to the listing and retry the operation.
2 Product(s) – Required item specific, Brand, is missing. Please add Brand and a corresponding value to the listing and retry the operation.

These are items that were successfully listed as-is previously, so M2E is clearly looking for the new product identifiers. But given the other comments it looks like this is unrelated to the other problem. Glad I haven’t yet upgraded to 6.3.4, am looking forward to Joanne’s feedback from M2E.

I had the error:
“Required item specific, Brand, is missing. Please add Brand and a corresponding value to the listing and retry the operation”

I fixed it by changing the listing description policy for those listings. Under ebay catalog identifiers, I removed the brand and put ‘none’.

This got rid of those errors and the ebay listing still had the brand information in the item specifics.

Not sure why this worked as other listings have this filled in and don’t get the errors!

The problem I have now is no Amazon orders coming into Magento, and the order sync log error: ‘server connection is failed, try again’. :-(

Brand has an asterisk next to it for me, it is required and cannot be set to none. Still stuck on this error and haven’t heard a peep from M2E support.

If I don’t hear back from support by this evening I am very tempted to restore everything from a pre-upgrade backup even though I would be trashing some transactional info. Maybe do another backup then restore…

I have just directed M2E support to this thread.

Don’t restore anything, that won’t help. There is clearly a problem with the new product identifiers “Brand” and “MPN”, as mentioned above, you have to go back into description policy and remove brand and set to none. This fixed my problems, before I was not able to synchronize inventory on variation listings because somehow the brand attribute messed everything up even though it worked prior to upgrading.

Also the variation settings where you can enter UPC/MPN for the child products doesn’t work either, I had to remove the info I put in for those to get rid or the errors. This whole product identifier is a mess.

Hey guys

I am still waiting on M2E, so no answers on why we are experiencing the issues we have although I suspect it has more to do with updating to the recent version release than anything else.

It’s very frustrating as I feel at a total stand-still with eBay modifications and syncing. At NevSkins we also need to be getting on with updating the UPC field on eBay and had been looking forward to completing this once the eBay Defaults sync had completed… instead it is stuck at 20% and we can’t update, sync, modify or list anything else until that one completes.

We have been updating listings that reach stock of 1 manually on eBay – and at that time updating the UPC field – but does anyone here know if doing this through eBay will mess with M2EPro at some point (or vice versa) .. when it’s finally working again of course ;)

Submitted my ticket to M2E on July 22nd and am at a stand still until they respond sometime next week.

(Feeling bummed)

I am still stuck on brand too. No word from M2Epro support.

I have all sorts of items in queue to be listed, pet stuff, vitamins, lotions – many different categories. All are affected by brand , which is required and cannot be set to none (as an item specific).

There is also brand in the description policy which I have set to none to no avail. The message:
Input data for tag is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation.

is almost certainly referring to an item specific.

I received validation that M2EPro is essentially dead to me until further notice.

“Hello,

Some of our users expected the same problem for mulit-variation items even if Brand information is provided.

We have submitted support ticket with eBay technical support and received a response from eBay support where they confirmed it as their bug. Unfortunately, we do not know when it will be fixed, as it depends on eBay, not on m2e pro.

Please see eBay response below:

Thank you for reporting the issue. We were able to reproduce the issue using your information.

This has been reported to our engineering team. We will keep your ticket open and in a “Waiting-BugFix” state and keep you updated on the progress of the issue as soon as we have more information.

Since this has been determined to be an eBay bug, you will not be charged.

Best Regards,
M2E Pro Support Team. “

Thanks for the update Reichard

I’m very frustrated with M2EPro tonight. I can’t even provide a solid update to you guys here because, so far, all the support emails comprise is asking for more information thus:

email 1 – July 23 – Please provide magento admin panel access. We will check.

email 2 – July 24 – We also need url.

email 3 – July 27 – Please, provide us an access with administrator right as we need an access to all M2E Pro sections and now we receiving an “Access denied” error when trying to reach Sell on eBay>Help tab.

Can’t say I feel comfortable about giving someone full access.

Reichard – the response from eBay to M2Epro doesn’t sound promising, does it? Finger’s crossed the resolution by eBay will be faster than their ” “Waiting-BugFix” state sounds.

All the best
Joanne
