The problem I have is that either M2E is not downdating stock correctly or i have configured something wrong.

The product in question is set up as a standard product with “custom options” I use custom options to define Qty/Pack Size. I tried using Quantity but ebay wont allow that so called it pack size, but for all intense and purpose “pack Size” is quantity.

So my custom options are 1, 2 & 3 and my inital stock level is 10. It would appear that when i sold 3 it only took 1 off of my stock, which eventually has made my stock in magento -1

I set up my item as per one of the video tutorials (sorry not sure which one it was), this seems(ed) that it was a better option than setting up configurable products. Also i set the product up in such a way that the inventory is 10, but M2E only lists 3 at a time, i am wondering if it lists 1 x 3, 2×3, and 3 x 3, which possibly could have thrown the stock out

Any ideas what my problem is.

Thanks
Steve

Hey Steve

Hmmm this is an interesting one, I haven’t sold pack quantities before so wouldn’t know the best way to set these up.

I have nudged Matt to take a look at this and get back to you asap.

Sorry if it seems quiet, I can confirm we are both here, Matt has his head down in the code for the responsive ebay template which is why he may appear quieter than normal :)

Hi Steve,

What you’re doing I don’t believe is supported in M2EPro as the sock levels don’t come true.

I believe you’re trying to make a bundle product with options (a kit that has variations), this doesn’t work in M2E because it doesn’t work in Magento.

Matt

Note: We don’t show custom options in any of the video tutorials. There is a reason for this, they’re not the better way of handling products that come in variations

I think the tutorial i followed was the “variations” video, the one with the boots in different sizes.

All I am trying to do is list products that people can select 1,5 or 10 off so instead of a quantity field that they type into they get the option of a drop down box where they select 1,5 or 10. if they select 5 it takes 5 off my stock. Obviously I need specific prices attached to each 1,5 or 10. Is this possible?

Thanks
Steve
PS when will the responsive template be available

Hi Steve,

I believe this can be done, however it will fall down because it won’t work on eBay :/

Matt

PS. Been working on the templates again today, getting closer!
