No doubt I am missing something simple here.
I am slowly but surely getting though your tut’s. I have just listed my first item to eBay using M2E.
What I have found though is that it is using the ‘price’ and not the ‘eBay price’ when listing.
As we sell for different prices on our website then we do to eBay, how do I set this up correctly.
I have the attribute att_eby_price (eBay Price) set up. Required = NO / System = No / Visible = No / Scope = Store View
Does anything stand out as glaringly wrong, or is there another step that I have missed to ensure M2E picks up this price and not my standard Magento prices.
Thanks Stacey :)
To be able to use an attribute for the ebay price rather than magentos built in price. The new attribute you create needs to be added to EVERY attribute you have in your magento backend.
Catalog >> Attributes >> Manage Atribute Sets
Each set in there must have the ebay price attribute, otherwise it will not show up when you set pricing during a listing for ebay
Calum’s answer is spot on, the one part you’re missing is the assignment of these prices to the price, qty and format policy in Magento.
Below is a video we made a while back for the pricing attributes for use in auctions, this is basically the same for you, but a different name and you’d assign the price to the section that’s applicable ( not reserve and auction prices).
