I’m very confused how this is all going to work. I have all my listings on Magento and separately all the same listings on EBay as well (this was done before joining M2EPro). I would like to in time take off all my listings on EBay and produce a fresh listing from Magento. I have followed the tutorials up until https://understandinge.com/course/listing-to-ebay-using-m2epro/ which is the PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER section. Looking at this tutorial it looks like you make a fresh configurable item and then send it to EBay as a listing. The problem I have is that I already have a configurable on Magento, for my website listing so how do I make a listing from that? If that is possible as I don’t know and it seems pointless if we have to start again on both Magento and EBay to sort it out. But if you do the tutorial above how do you connect the inventory from the website configurable to the EBay configurable as they are two separate items.
I have been through the tutorial and listed a configurable to EBAY but it is not connecting with inventory with Magento, please advise how to connect the two together.
So are you trying to sync a product you have created yourself for your website with one that was created on eBay?
If so you may run into problems here as for the sync to happen the data for whats in Magento and what is on eBay needs to match exactly. For this reason Matt is super close to finalising his EML (Export my listings) tool which will export your eBay listings and put them in an import file for Magento to ensure the data matches exactly.
