Hi all,

I am just wondering if anyone had had a chance to try this yet / has nay opinions on this. We have just had our invivtation to give it a go and I am interested to see how it can have an impact.

Speaking generally I am not sure whether I am glad it is here or not. In some ways we are perfectly happy with our ebay business as it is and therefore do not welcome any complications however on the other hand it may provide opportunities to sell more (which no one can complain about).

Hopefully ebay will try to avoid encouraging ads which simply work by increasing the sale price and then offer the full 20% ad fee to win the visibility.

Any thoughts?

For anyone not aware this is what I am talking about – http://sellercentre.ebay.co.uk…..tings.html

Cheers,

When eBay ran these a few years ago, under a slightly different name, they were a good way to get some initial sales on to your products before turning them off and letting organic do it’s thing.

I have no idea how/if they will have re-worked the way it works algorithmically but it’s like anything, it’s worth a try and if it works great, if not, then at least you tried.
