eBay Category Footer without Active Content

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a custom HTML footer on eBay shop category pages if we are to make a store compliant with the upcoming Active Content changes (ie no Javascript) – is there any solution to this?

I am referring to the section directly below the table of products on a shop category page.

As I understand it (though I may be wrong), it won’t be possible to add a footer via store.js anymore. Are there any known workarounds?

Cheers,
Chris

Hello there. store.js might not be easy to modify or change. However, see if any of these might help: http://stackoverflow.com/quest…..stom-pages or this https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/how-to-use-a-footer-in-some-of-my-my-listings/qaq-p/23499157 Hope they can help.

Thanks for your reply, Rodney.

The first link’s suggestions use Javascript – which will no longer be allowed. And the second link’s suggestions relate to the actual item listing page rather than a category page unfortunately.

We can add a footer to the eBay Shop homepage and also to item listing pages, just not the category pages as there’s very little potential for customisation of the category pages with the upcoming Active Content changes.

Hi Chris,

If it can be done in HTML or CSS then yes it’s doable, however using anything .js will be blocked and will not display…or will display a load of code, making the listing look like trash.
