Hello all!
I have an ebay template that has just been done for us, but when i copy and paste the html in the description source box, it does not look right?
In the template there is some text that says “add your description here..” etc etc which i believe is designed to be done manually through ebay.
Even the images have to have a url of where they are located.
I have attached the html below in the hope someone can help me.

Hi Nic,

Yea you’re missing the M2EPro keywords.

Where it says “LISTING TITLE HERE” change this with #name# or #att_eby_name#

For the description use the #description# tag

And for the images you’ll need the M2EPro keyword #media_gallery[560,,,2,row,0,””]#

This course will help you bring you up to speed on how eBay listing templates work with M2E https://understandinge.com/course/ebay-listing-templates/

Hi Matt and thanks for the quick reply.
So i would use these keywords but do i for example put them like this:
Original “Listing Title Here” to “#name#” with the quotes?
And the image keyword, do i use the exact sample you have given to allow my image to display in the listing? (the #media_gallery[560,,,2,row,0,,]# )
Love your videos by the way!
Regards

Howdy Nic,

Nope, no quotes just #name# and M2EPro has a tool to insert these using your attributes in Magento under the section where you paste in your custom listing template.

For the image keyword, yep that one works really well and again you can use the keyword tool under the custom template area in your description policy in M2EPro to tweak this as desired.

Glad you’re enjoying the tutorials too :)
