Hi,

I can not work out why M2E is re-listing products that are out of stock. When we receive an eBay order for a product where there is only one left eBay ends the item, the Magento stock reduces to zero, but for some reason ebay then re-lists the product as available and instock.

Here is a screenshot of my M2E Synch settings.

Can anyone help?

Hi James,

Those settings appear to be correct, what I would suggest is shooting M2E support a quick email with an example eBay item number and SKU and see what they say.

Thanks Matt.

I’ll let the forum know what they say

M2E Reply.

This was happening because the products that were being re-listed were in the 3rd Party Listings group that had been mapped to the virtual products, which are not synchronised as M2E does not support this.

It looks like I had setup my own groups e,g ‘Boxer Shorts’ and these were correctly listed on ebay. However, I had inadvertently set 3rd Part Listings synchronisation to ‘enabled’.

Thus, when product in the listings group ‘Boxer Shorts’ were listed on eBay, M2E then fetched them in to the 3rd Party Listing group as well.

I think this is what happened.

This was their actual reply email;

The relisted products are in the 3rd party listing. The products are mapped to the variational products. Qty and price in this case (in the case of mapping to the variational magento product) are not synchronized as M2E does not support this.

The products are relisted according to the 3rd Party Synchronization Settings.

The Stock Availability and Product Status information is taken basing on the main Magento Product:

You should move items into M2E listing for further management:

Hi James,

Appreciate you sharing this.

So basically it boils down the the mapping & moving of existing listings?
