Hello Guys,

First! Congrats on your project! Looks promising and I can’t wait to see your videos and everything!

My question is, in what way I can export from ebay and import to Magento/M2E Pro?

Thank you,

Howdy Athur,

My question is, in what way I can export from ebay and import to Magento/M2E Pro?

This is something that M2E Pro doesn;t have. They have a mapping feature which works really well, however the product data from eBay, there is no function to pull this down using M2E Pro.

As you know from the eBay plugins I have already written, I’m comfortable with the eBay API’s, so getting at the sellers data is easy, the only challenge I’ve not worked out in my head just yet is how to get it into a standard format that a seller can use to easily import back into Magento (it’s the eBay item specifics that are my main concern, variations, images etc… are easily handled)

PS. I still need to reply to your email :)

Hello Matt,

Thank you for your reply.

I’m waiting for your reply to my email.

I will try to bring something new (I hope). Recently I’ve found a website wplab and they have a great option to import all your ebay listings to your store. I think you should contact the developer (quite a nice guy), because he managed to do it. It’s quite an awesome feature witch gives you a possibility to migrate from eBay to WooCommerce quite easily.

I haven’t investigated the functionality yet, but I intend to do that, because the WP-Lister tool is very simple to use, quite easy to adapt my designs to it and it is very flexible.

The advantages of M2E Pro are great, but in my case it doen’t help much as I need to download all the listings and update them with my designs. And I think (not sure yet) I can do that with WPLab provided tools.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Best wishes!
Artur

Hi Artur,

Ah yes I’ve seen WP-Lister, looks like it could fit the needs of a smaller business :)

What you’re suggesting is 100% possible, but it’s making it work for a wide variety of users which is the challenge, just needs some thought so we do it the right way.
