We’re still in that pre-live phase where we’re loading inventory and listing on Ebay … taking down old listings and making new listings through M2ePro.

When sales come on Ebay, we print invoices etc direct from Ebay so, operationally, its clunky but fine for now before we install PickPack/ShipEasy etc and go live.

… But, I’ve noticed that some of our products are showing units sold in the Listings view …

… but we have never had any orders / sales recorded in the Dashboard.

Is there a magic switch that has to turned on with special powers to make that all work as expected ?

Anyway, thank god its Saturday evening … let the good times roll ;)

Hi Andrew,

M2EPro is most likely showing sales because of the info supplied back from eBay when mapping the item.

This of course may be different to what you have in Magento, as those orders may be old or never have been imported.

Is there a magic switch that has to turned on with special powers to make that all work as expected ?

I’m guessing you don’t have order collection turned on?

All products in Magento database have been created new and added to Ebay via m2ePro.

Some products show qty above zero sold but no data for orders /sales in Magento dashboard.

Please advise locations of settings so that order data shows up in the dashboard.

Many thanks.

Hey Andrew

Check the ‘Sell on eBay’ tab and go down to configuration. From there you should default to the synchronisation tab and there is an option for orders synchornisation and this should be set to enabled in order to bring the orders in

Hi Andrew,

Daft one, when you mark one of those orders as being shipped/complete, do they then appear back on the dashboard?

Hi Matt,

we’re still loading our inventory into magento and, as we add products, we delete the old ebay listings and add load up the new ones via m2epro; all the invoice printing and status changes (to mark as shipped) is being done manually direct at the ebay interface … I just started to notice that some of the products showing in the m2epro listing group pages are showing figures in the sold column. (see screen shot) … but there is zilch in the dashboard at all (see other screen shot).

I guess the sold figures are getting transferred when m2epro syncs with ebay to check product listings … but I don’t understand why the sales / orders are therefore reflected in the dashboard.

Maybe its best to start the day confused … then the day can only get better ;)
