Hi All

Thanks

Hi Tim,

I’m afraid I haven’t seen a decent CRM for eBay full stop.

Hi
Thanks, Cloud conversion is too expensive for what I need.

Howdy Daesung,

Have you seen the cost of Cloud conversion and salesforce?

That rules it out for almost every business I know of. We had this implemented a while back for a medium sized business and the total costs were nuts and they went back to using MS Exchange, it was cheaper.

Hey Andy

Thanks for that, so looking at the table, to have the eBay messages integration your looking at $99 a month / per user.

someone needs to check how well is zendesk with channelreply addon working with eBay in reality. Zendesk should handle amazon and website without any addons.

I read in one of Matt’s blogs (Brightpeal vs Magento ) where he mentioned that there will be a decent solution in spring 2015 , any more details on that ?

I am struggling with the amount of emails from ebay and amazon and waiting to install a decent CRM , ideally one that will also have a livechat that will be on the same page . That is a top priority for me know as this is really slowing things down for me . As soon as I will fnd a solution I am planning to hire a dedicated person only for managing communication with customers .
Re:At some point I almost went for Reply manager but then gave up at the last minute.

THanks

Howdy nykkooo,

That’s right, my aim is to get this working in a BETA format for Spring time next year (I’ll have been sat on this for 2 years as of January).

As a heads up a “customer facing” live chat won’t be included, there are many tools like this already that do a great job of this such as Olark. A later revision will include an internal staff chat to be able to exchange messages between team members though.

Hi Matt, are you talking about building a solution of your own or working on integration here?

Hi Dimitri,

Building it in as part of WidgetChimp as it already has a direct eBay integration. I did an Amazon integration a year ago (order collection & related functions as part of a brand manager tool) and Magento, well I wrote a connector between Magento & eSellerPro that took +400hrs, so I have all the code for that as well which is very robust & proven.

It’s worth noting I refuse to touch listing & order processing as those things get silly deep, really quickly. Look how long it took M2E, +6 years, eSellerPro the same amount of time of not more and so on…

So the way I look at it, email management is basic, I have all the pieces and crucially the insight needed :)

It should be lethal even in it’s most basic form, let alone the secondary features I’ll be adding in later versions.

Is it something you would be interested using in when I have a working version?

Matt
PS. I have no real idea on pricing, but what I can say for sure it won’t be silly expensive like the current options (they have to pay developers to go round in circles, I already know what you & me would need and want from such a tool).

Would you also consider to implement this as an internal communication tool , with tickets being assigned to agents . I am now using Help Desk but it is basic and it is not really intended for this. It would be great to have one single place to do it all :)

Howdy nykkooo,

Yep thats the plan, but leaving most of the “ticketing stuff” out as it’s not needed.

Why do you say it is not needed ? At the moment this is the way I am managing tasks . For example a customer writes an email I allocate it to an agent. Or , if I have several tasks for several agent I put them all in tickets assign priority and agent and they do them one by one . When they finished they just put a comment : Finish and change the status so it goes back to me for checking . OR they can comment if something is not clear and I reply with another comment.
DO you think that wil all be possible via internal chat ?

Howdy Daniel, All,

Yep you should definitely take a look at xsellco at £69 per user per month. This isn’t ready yet :)

My 2 staff and i all use Windows Live Mail at the same time from different parts of the world. Easy as you like, all mail from different channels and email addresses diverted to one inbox to deal with and a few rules for sorting junk and invoices etc. Basically I’m left with with all my ebay, amazon and website questions in one folder which, i can click reply to like a normal email without logging into any sales channels. The WLM search function does the job of pulling up all previous correspondence from any given customer and it’s free. Not perfect but it works well for me
