Please take a moment to put some weight behind this M2E feature request. I was about to create a new one and spotted this one that is already up there.

This is a fantastically powerful feature that is sorely missing from M2E.

A simplistic example:
You have 5 bullet point attributes.
99% of your products have all 5 filled out
1% Has <5
Those 1% either need to have their own custom description template assigned or display blank bullet points

With programmatic control you can check if the attribute has a value, and if it doesn’t you don’t try to display it.

Let’s take a look at a better example:
You sell mens, womens, boys, girls clothing. There are many different size guides depending on gender, age, manufacturer, etc. With this type of power, you can create an attribute such as att_size_guide and on the product set a named size guide. You could then create a static block for each size guide, and within the custom description you put a logical statement that checks the value you set on the product for att_size_guide and then loads the appropriate static block (containing the size guide).
You now have a much cleaner listing template that’s easy to read and easy for the customer to get the relevant information (if they are looking at a mens sweater, they don’t care about the women’s skirts guide, nor do they care about the men’s trousers guide. If they are looking at a product and there are loads of size guides they have to check until they find the right one, you are guaranteed to have lost some of your sales right there. You are also guaranteed that you have increased customer sales queries regarding sizing for those items.
This saves you time and converts more customers – it’s fantastically important.

You can still achieve most of the above, but instead of a single template you can assign to everything, you have to make every possible combination and manage assigning them correctly. This becomes needlessly complex if you stock 1,000s of products.

So… please take a moment to up vote this feature request!
