Hello guys. Im finally getting the hang of Magento and so far i love it. I just had one quick question. We imported products from ebay into magento and so far so good, even though we have to go in to the products catalog and clean up somethings. I noticed when one of our ebay 3rd party listing items was relisted it didnt display our listing templates. Is there a way to add listing templates to ebay 3rd party listings?

You need to move the 3rd party listings into a “regular” M2E listing template…Was it relisted because it sold and M2E reimported it as a new item since the original item was stuck in 3rd party purgatory and was not properly mapped?? That’s my guess. Try searching your MAGENTO catalog for the item name….Does it appear twice? Without knowing more about how you “imported products from ebay into magento” it’s hard to say what state you’re at.

Maybe the guys from here can shed some more insight…

The same thing happened to some of my 3rd party listings and I ended up with a very short plain-looking description in eBay. I assume you have a template setup in M2e Pro? As Easton suggested, if you move the 3rd party listing into a relevant M2e Pro listing and then “Revise the item on eBay” then your template will update into the eBay listing description. I have done this to over 500 items and even though it was time consuming it has worked really well

Hello Debbie and thanks so much for your response. The only things is though i wanted to move all my 3rd party listings into one m2e pro listing group. Once i do as you suggested will it make the shipping policy and the description policy the same for all of them. I say this because some of our ebay items are new , refurbished or used and we have many different shipping methods depending on the size of the item. Thanks

Hi Ike
I replied to your other post here which explained how I do my shipping policies, you can do the same with your description policies, apply them at a M2e Pro item level via the settings tab in the M2e Pro listing
