Hi Guys
Just looking for feedback or ideas, i notice that some things are not compatible with Magento / M2EPro or should be avoided or even worse i am doing it wrong. I have been getting familiar with both environments to get me ready for Jan 1st (yes i am impatient :)

I see some of the functions that are free in Magento you need an anchor shop £249 a month and have a subscription to E Seller Pro which is not what we want. I refer to Tier pricing on a Simple product which is a powerful sales technique for moving items in bulk. But this will not transfer with M2EPro i believe but is allowed for anchor shops. So what do you do you could set it up as a configurable product which i think transfers into Ebay as a Variation listing. But you then lose your powerful Magneto Tier opportunity. Or would you set up 2 versions of it?

Another item i have found if you have the settings in M2Epro it will import items into your Magento Catalogue on sale of them on Ebay i thought was a good idea. If you have items with no variation it is but it is NOT if you do have variation listings as it only brings in the 1 item from the variation sale so be wary. I have had 10 come across and guess I will need to delete them.

I am sure there are others but nothing earth shattering but these little things you need to know as you can spend hours setting up items in Magento only t find M2EPro will not deal with them as you intended

Hi Dale,

You’ve lost me on the first part of your question, can you rephrase it for me?

Interesting question Dale and one I would be interested to know too.

I’m excited as it’s already 1st Jan here in Australia, so will wait patiently for the UK to catch up!

Hi Dale & @Annette Winter,

Ah I see now….

This tiered pricing is not available to normal business sellers on eBay. As far as I know you have to have it specifically enabled on your eBay account. Which is why you’ve probably been refereed by eBay to eSellerPro as they would have been one of the rare tools that would have actually implemented this.

You can try asking M2E Pro to see if they have this already added, if it’s not (say for Argos or another large eBay selller) then I strongly suspect that it won’t be added any time soon as the feature is gated.
