If you have two eBay accounts can you send inventory to them both using one M2EPro account?

yes you can and its quite easy. Just set up the new account in settings and then construct templates that point the listings at whichever site you want to use. We use multiple E-Bay accounts including one in Germany.

Howdy Tim,

Do you use a separate store view or site so that the prices are changed automatically?

Hi Matt, we actually run 5 separate websites off our Magento engine as well as Amazon, Play (Rakuthingy) and multiple E-Bay stores. So we have 10 store views ion all as we have set up separate ones for Amazon etc. This helps when the sales get pulled in you can identify their source easily on the “orders” page.

This means we have all sales coming into one place and we manage them from there. We have parity on pricing across all platforms (right or wrong), so we multi list on E-Bay at same price.

You may be thinking how does he get around duplicate listings? Well we have a couple of custom attributes set up for the titles, so on each item in Magento we have a different title pointing at different E-Bay stores and custom templates for each.

Not sure if I answered the question, but I tried :-)

Cheers

Just Wow Tim! That is by far the most I have heard anyone manage through Magento! Which is exactly what we wanted to hear.

Quick question, have you used another software provider before for your multi channel, and if so how do you find Magento in comparison?

Cheers

Morning Tim,

Ah ha! The same approach that we are working towards in the guides.

I do have two questions for you, how do you manage the currencies? And would you be up for a chat on the phone to see what you’re actually doing?

Hi Matt, yes deffo up for a chat – will give you a call – hopefully tomorrow. In terms of currencies we only use GBP. E-Bay ten converts etc, but we haven’t strayed into advertising different currencies etc.
