Hi there, I am hoping someone can help me work out what settings I need to correct in order for this to work, I am very new at this.

I managed to import the 3rd party listings from our ebay store into Magento and decided to use one product to map to an existing Magento product as a test before I do others. However, I can’t seem to set up the synchronisation of quantity correctly. The quantity on ebay for this product was 6 units. I changed the quantity on the Magento product to 7. The mapping seemed to have been completed correctly and I then managed to move the 3rd party listing to an existing Magento listing. However, the quantity on the ebay listing remains at 6 and is not synchronising. I am just not sure which options to pick in the synchronisation settings and everything I read confuses me even more. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction? I’ve included some screenshots

Hello there. Here are some of our tutorials on synchronizing Magento/M2E Pro; I hope that they can help: https://understandinge.com/lesson/mb-102/ and https://understandinge.com/lesson/mb-094/ as well as https://understandinge.com/lesson/ss-0004/

thanks for your reply, Rodney, but none of the tutorials are really relevant to this scenario – I don’t use Amazon, I know how to update ebay sites (not really relevant here) and the manual Synchronisation bypassing the cron job I have tried but it did not work. As I mentioned in my initial post there is something not right with the synchronisation settings that I have selected and I have given examples of those in screenshots. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Well, first of all I do apologize if the tutorials didn’t work out. Here is something that I hope would help out: http://stackoverflow.com/quest…..ot-created Hopefully that would be the one that helps out.

Without having a detailed looked I can’t say for sure but its probably because you have moved the 3rd party listing to a listing group therefore its not a 3rd party listing anymore.

You have set description policies etc for it so that m2e pro fully controls the listing and when is this complete you will find the qty sync properly.

Hope this makes sense and helps

Thanks Paul. I did move the 3rd party listing to a listing group, I was told that’s what I needed to do but I am not sure now – should I not have done that? The thing is though, all other listings that I have created under that listing group (those that were not 3rd party but created fresh from Magento) are working just fine and synchronising perfectly. It is only the two listings that used to be 3rd party that are not synchronising :(

Its right to move the products to a listing group but for magento/m2e pro to fully control the listings then you need to set description polices etc.

I can’t say for sure why its only 2 listings not syncing properly. I would re trace your steps compared to the 3rd party listings which are working and see if there any differences.

Hope this helps
