Hi all,

I listed an item using Channel Advisor and imported the listing to m2e pro, created the item in magento, mapped the two and moved it to a regular m2e pro listing. The only thing that I changed was the Price and I’m getting the following errors:
Error
Duplicate custom variation label.
Error
The multi-variation titles have been changed and were not updated on the eBay. You need stop and then list this item again.
Error
Variation cannot be deleted during restricted revise.

Any ideas?

Hey Ariel,

Welcome to the forums, it’s great to have you here.

The first one with the custom variation label makes me think in Magento there are now two listings with the same SKU or unique identifier.

I have pinged Matt and asked him to take a look for you.

Howdy Ariel,

“Narly” is word that sprung to mind.

Basically the details need to match exactly to what eBay has for the product and sometimes they won’t map correctly ( Marshall at ChannelAdvisor has this noted in the SSC ). All I can suggest is checking over the item with a fine tooth comb and see if you can spot what & why eBay is rejecting the match.

I never actually got any ebay listings to import correctly. Even took a download from Matt that showed exactly what details were in mylisting. This still didnt fix it. I truly believe this to be broken in M2E. They say it isn’t and I couldnt be bothered to argue the toss, but take my word for it. You can have the most simple of variation listings and they simply wont map across in 95% of the time.

I guess this just shows the need for the eBay export tool. The goal with that is to export the data from eBay in such a way that it can be easily imported using Magmi.

Did you get the listings imported Ariel?

I would agree with Henry, any variation listing cannot be manually linked without spending 1000 years to match them both. As of now, we’d just have to wait for the development from m2e for a fix or hopefully any development from exportmylistings to mirror exactly what ebay has…

This has been a problem for us, even very qualified developers don’t have any other answer for this one.

Hmmm, I can see how the need for exportmylistings is becoming more and more of a priority so hopefully we can get to it asap.
