Hi guys, a big error is featuring in 6.1.8 – ive tested this pretty keenly today. Large variaiton products throw a nasty error: The product was listed as a simple product as it has limitation for multi-variation items. Reason: number of values for each option more than 30.
Basically updated M2Epro on the 6th August. Had some pretty handsome variation listings live for some time. These large (200-240 variations) used to sell well, between 6th-7th August i started getting the error above. M2E is not updating the stock on these listing any more, as such sales are dropping. 2 messages to M2E pro and no success. No doubt they will say its not to do with them. These are old listings, that worked fine and no data has been touched.
So i tested this today. Created Config product, 240 related SKUS. 12sizes, 20 colours. Boom. Same error!!!
If you can do this manually in eBay then you’re extremely likely to be able to do this via the eBay API and that then means if you can’t create variations like this, then that’ll be down to M2E Pro.
Send it over to them and see what they say and feel free to quote me on the above :0
Yep, i can edit listing fine using ebay revise. I will put the link to M2E. THANKS
Happy & Days,
Wish I had seen this sooner as I wouldn’t have wasted the whole of today trying to figure out why oders with variations weren’t coming through DOH.
On the upside 6.1.9 is now available on Magento Connect.
We make it Personal
Yea 6.1.9 was released yesterday. We have a blog post out next week on the M2E Pro updates and are just adding in the details from 6.1.9

is this a recent post (as at 25th August 2014 ?) …my system is telling me to upgrade to 6.1.9 but I can’t seem to find out when it was first released and if it is now stable.
You can find out the release date by going to http://www.magentocommerce.com…..y-com.html and selecting the “Platform: Community” option and then clicking on the Release notes tab.
Also always apply common sense to updates, ie wait at least a week or more before updating.
Hi Mike, Andrew,
Apologies was playing with the form theme over the weekend and left that section commented out.
Has any one had issues with the grids extension.
I currently have this msg displayed in m2e:
Fatal error occurred: “Invalid method Ess_M2ePro_Block_Adminhtml_Ebay_Account_Grid::blcg_setGridModel(Array (  => BL_CustomGrid_Model_Grid Object ( [_columns:protected] => Array ( [massaction] => Array ( [column_id] => 141 [grid_id] => 11 [id] => massaction [index] => main_table.id [width] => [align] => center [header] => [order] => 10 [origin] => grid [is_visible] => 1 [is_system] => 1 [missing] => 0 [store_id] => [renderer_type] => [renderer_params] => [allow_edit] => 1 ) [id] => A
M2E support suggested:
As you can see from the part of stack trace this error is related to the Custom Grid Extension.

So you can try to remove all custom grids, that were created for m2e pro grids.
Please browse to System -> Custom Grids -> List, find all grids, whose name starts with ‘m2epro’ and remove them. It should help.
I was unable to find this list part and am a little worried about doing this. This happened a week back and has happened again when I try to map ebay cats and ebay store cats to all my products. Any suggestions or has anyone had the same issue at all?
